IBIS Model Course
This course provides the core principle concepts of IO Buffer modeling covering SPICE, IBIS, and Macro models. The course focuses on IBIS Models for Signal Integrity including IBIS Model generation, validation, and correlation. Engineers will learn how IBIS Models are used for Signal Integrity analysis as well as how to generate and valdiate IBIS models. A complete methodology for IBIS Model validation will be presented that engineer's can put into practice right away.
PCB Stackup Design Course
This course provides the foundations of designing a PCB stackup for multi-layer high-speed designs using solid Signal Integrity design principles. The course will cover the eight phases of stackup design: Material Selection, Floor Planning, Power Delivery Design, Assigning Signal Layers/Reference Planes, Determin Layer Count, Define Impedance Controlled Traces, Place and Route, and Stackup Review for Signal Integrity DRC. This course will focus heavily on PCB trace impedance modeling and design for both single-ended and differential signals. Optional purchases include wSolver impedance design tool.
